Honoured by a commision by the only professional symphony orchestra left in the North of the Netherlands, the NNO. UK Premiere for World War II Commemoration Song Cycle 'Frede'
The world premiere of 'Frede' will be performed in Spring 2020 in Tenterden, Kent, in the enchanting medieval church of St Mildred.
'Frede' is a World War II commemoration song cycle for soprano, choir and piano on words by Baukje Wytsma. Soloist are soprano Agnes van Laar (soprano) and Carl Visser (pianoforte), accompanied by Mixed Choir Grou, conducted by Hans Algra. After the world premiere, concerts in The Netherlands will follow.
